Stat Pools

Pools are both health and fuel: damage and Effort come out of them. Edge cuts the cost of anything paid from that Pool, Effort included (to a minimum of 0).

Damage Track
HaleAll Pools above 0. No penalties.
ImpairedOne Pool at 0. Effort costs +1 per level; no minor or major effects.
DebilitatedTwo Pools at 0. You can do little but move.
DeadAll three Pools at 0.
Recovery Rolls
1d6 + tier

Restore that many points, split among your Pools.

Armor & Effort

Armor subtracts from every hit. Heavier armor makes Speed Effort cost more per level (check your armor and type).

Effort: first level costs 3, each extra level +2. Each level eases the task one step.

Effort Helper

Skills
SkillLevel

Trained eases a task one step, specialized two (the most skills can give). An inability hinders it one step.

Each advancement costs 4 XP. Buy all four at a tier and you move up to the next tier, gaining new type and focus abilities.

Cyphers
CypherLevelEffect

Your type sets your cypher limit (usually 2 or 3 at the start). Carry more and the GM decides what goes wrong.

Artifacts

Artifacts are reusable and don't count toward your cypher limit. Roll the depletion die each use; the listed number means it stops working.

How it works. A sheet auto-saves in this browser once it has a name. Renaming a sheet renames its save. Pick Core or Numenera in the Setting box: Numenera adds Artifacts and Oddities, counts money in shins and suggests Numenera's types. Use the tabs to move between the three pages. Print prints all three pages of the current character, one per US Letter sheet, and Print Blank prints an empty set for the current setting. Export downloads every sheet as a JSON file and Import merges a file like that back in (a sheet with the same name is replaced). Nothing leaves your browser.

Sample characters. Load sample characters follows the Setting picker: it adds every character from the Character Library (core) or the Numenera sample characters, replacing any saved sheet with the same name just as Import does and never deleting anything; the link under it loads both. The saved-sheet list groups sheets by setting. You can also download the files and import them yourself: core sample sheets and Numenera sample sheets.

Worked out for you. A recovery roll is 1d6 + your tier, four a day (1 action, 10 minutes, 1 hour, 10 hours). The damage track follows how many Pools are at 0. The Effort Helper (screen only) prices Effort: 3 points for the first level, 2 for each extra one, +1 per level while Impaired, plus any armor penalty on Speed, minus that Pool's Edge, never below 0. See Stat Pools & Effort, Character Creation, Character Advancement and The Magic of Cyphers; for the Ninth World, Numenera Characters and Cyphers, Oddities & Artifacts.
